Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F). Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Mince or finely chop 3-4 garlic cloves and combine with the melted butter and olive oil in a small bowl. Season with salt and stir in the oregano.

Coat and Arrange
Place the whole unpeeled potatoes on a baking tray or oven-safe dish. Brush them generously all over with the garlic butter and oil mixture, making sure to coat the skins evenly.

Bake with Basting
Bake the potatoes at 200°C (390°F) for 50 to 60 minutes. Every 15 minutes, remove the potatoes from the oven and brush them again with the remaining garlic butter mixture to build up a golden, flavorful crust. Repeat this basting process throughout the full baking time.

Check and Serve
The potatoes are done when the skins are deeply golden and crispy and a fork or skewer slides easily into the center. Baking time may vary depending on the size and variety of your potatoes. Serve hot.
