Overnight Muesli

Creamy soaked oats layered with sweet apple, juicy berries, and crunchy nuts — cool and refreshing straight from the fridge.

10 min2 portions

Ingrédients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup whole milk or oat milk
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 apple · grated or finely diced
  • 2 tbsp honey · plus more to taste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries · fresh or thawed frozen
  • 3 tbsp sliced almonds or chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp raisins or dried cranberries · optional

Préparation

  1. 1

    Combine the base

In a medium bowl or jar, stir together the rolled oats, milk, yogurt, honey, and lemon juice until evenly mixed.

  2. 2

Fold in apple and dried fruit

Grate or finely dice the apple directly into the oat mixture so the juices go in too. Add the raisins or cranberries if using, and stir to combine.

  3. 3

    Refrigerate overnight

Cover the bowl or seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 8 hours (or up to 2 days). The oats will absorb the liquid and soften into a creamy, thick consistency.

  4. 4

    Loosen and taste

In the morning, stir the muesli. If it is thicker than you like, stir in a splash of milk to loosen it. Taste and add more honey if needed.

  5. 5

    Top and serve

Spoon into bowls and top with fresh or thawed berries and a scatter of sliced almonds or walnuts. Drizzle with a little extra honey and serve cold.
