Ingredientes

  • 17.6 oz salmon · skin-on fillet or portions
  • salt · to taste
  • black pepper · to taste
  • olive oil · enough to coat the pan
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic · minced or thinly sliced
  • 1.5 tbsp lemon juice · freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp honey

Preparación

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Sear the Salmon

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets in the pan and cook for 3 minutes without moving them, until a golden crust forms on the bottom.

  3. 3

    Flip and Add Garlic

Flip the salmon fillets. Add the garlic to the pan and let it sizzle alongside the salmon for about 1 minute until fragrant and lightly golden.

  4. 4

    Add Honey and Lemon

Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the salmon, then drizzle in 1 tablespoon of honey. Allow the glaze to bubble and caramelize around the salmon for approximately 2 minutes, spooning the sauce over the top.

  5. 5

    Finish with Butter

Add the butter to the pan and let it melt into the glaze, continuing to cook for a final 3 minutes, basting the salmon frequently until fully cooked through and deeply glazed. Serve immediately.
