Apple Slices with Peanut Butter

Crisp, sweet apple wedges paired with creamy peanut butter — simple crunch meets rich, nutty depth.

5 min2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 apple · any variety — Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Granny Smith
  • 4 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp lemon juice · optional, to prevent browning

Directions

  1. 1

    Core and slice the apples

Wash the apples, then cut each one in half from top to bottom. Remove the core with a spoon or melon baller, then slice each half into 4–5 wedges about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Prevent browning (optional)

If serving later or for a crowd, toss the apple slices in 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a splash of water. This keeps them looking fresh.

  3. 3

    Serve

Arrange the apple slices on a plate or board in a fan shape. Spoon peanut butter into a small bowl and place it in the center for dipping.
